About volunteering
60% of your program fees help provide school supplies and training in STEM education for out of school children and children who have dropped out of school. Vulnerable women and girls are empowered to take up sustainable livelihood programs to make a living.

You will be recognized after your volunteering time
This is at the discretion of a volunteer. However, we advise that your intention to travel is evinced at the earliest to the ILeap team to enable us plan logistics as early as possible. Due to high demand of projects, we advise that you give us enough notice ( 3 to 6 months before your departure). The iLeap team is able to process late applications. It is better late than never.
After you have completed your online application or submitted your CV, you’ll receive a confirmation in 60 minutes. The team will get back to you on the status of your application.
The obligation is on you, the volunteer. ILeap will issue ALL relevant travel documents to aid your visa application. For traveling concerns, get in touch at:

ILeap advise that you consult your physician or family doctor before making a journey to Ghana. As a precautionary measure, we suggest that Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A and B and Typhoid be taken as a precaution. Yellow Fever is a must. Without it you cannot enter Ghana
At I Leap, it is our duty to keep our volunteers happy and safe. At least 1of our project coordinators, with their details shared with you before your arrival will be waiting at Kotoka International Airport. Your project coordinator who had an online language lessons with you will be the one meeting you at the airport. That is an iLeap tradition.

Your program fee covers transportation to and from the Kotoka International Airport, accommodation, food and water. Your flight cost, visa application fees, insurance, and in-country travels are not part of the program fees. Please note that our project sites are few minutes’ walk from the ILeap Centre. No need to board a car.
