Kwame Sanahene
Country Manager, Ghana
Kwame Sanahene is the Country Manager for the ILeap International in Ghana where he leads on country-level strategic planning to align programs to organization’s strategy. He takes overall leadership on the implementation of budgets, keep relevant stakeholders informed and ensures corrective actions are taken.
Previously, Fapem worked as Programs Manager for the BBSCF where he designed educational programs for out-of-school children. He founded the For All Africa Foundation where he led successfully, a Sustainable Shea Initiative Project sponsored by Global Shea Alliance, USAID and Wilmar Ghana Limited. He Collaborated with the FAAF team to design training manuals and trained over 3500 women shea collectors in the Northern Region. He co-founded Originality Hub to build life skills in youth from deprived communities and developed capabilities to generate novel and potentially useful solutions to problems.
Kwame holds BSc Mechanical Engineering & MSc Engineering Project Management from KNUST & Coventry University respectively. He has project management certificates in Prince2 Foundation and Prince2 Practitioner. In 2021 he completed the Bachelor of Laws program at Central University. Currently, Fapem is at Ghana Law School taking the Professional Law Course to become a Lawyer.
