The Economic Empowerment Program (EEP) is a capacity-building program for marginalized women and girls. Women receive training in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, microenterprise activities, value chain markets, among others.
We connect beneficiaries to businesses that provide business development services such as product and marketing development. Our mentors at the Arts Center take women in craftmanship lessons.
Severing medical aid where it's needed most
The specific objectives of this Initiative are:
- To offer healthcare education to the girl child, adolescent girl, adult women in the reproductive years and women beyond the reproductive years.
- To promote maternal, newborn and child health through strengthening the capacities of individuals, families and communities.
- To improve the extent of use of maternal and child health services by women during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period, and by children aged up to five years.
- To give impetus to the involvement of men (spouses, partners, fathers) and mothers-in-law and/or grandmothers (or similar) in reproductive health care seeking by women during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period, and health care seeking for children aged up to five years.
- To establish a partnership with the community, local councils, the private sector and partners in order to promote maternal, newborn and child health.

Doctors on Wheels Program
A service that brings the full complement of a medical clinic to remote areas in the form of a van fitted with medical equipment and a dispensary.
Advocacy & Protection
We work with parliamentarians, senior government officials, women in leadership positions to publicly & privately express continued support for women’s health.
Girls Impact Program
Education for girls has been identified as one of the best solutions to reversing the relentless trend of poverty and disease within the sub-Saharan Africa.
