The proportion of students with behavior related problems is on the rise. The present socio-economic changes and globalization are both contributing factors.
Master Christopher Rodieck, a volunteer from International Psychoanalytic University, Berlin completed eight weeks internship at Pantang Psychiatric Hospital, Accra. Having gained enormous experience interning, Chris spent a week at Akomadan, the district capital of Offinso North in the Ashanti Region. He discussed behavior related problems with students in three (3) different senior high schools. During his interaction with students, he offered counseling strategies for ameliorating behavior related problems.
After having series of workshops with students, they expressed their delight to have acquired useful knowledge, improved strategies in coping with life demands and decision-making skills.
